This is the title of the message I read in my inbox this morning from my friend Laurie Sweig. Her client and friend, Rob Wein would be in the studio, "The Point for Fitness". I agreed to take photos of Rob during his training session with Laurie. If you aren't aware of who Rob is, please read this article. I wasn't sure what I was going to say, or how he would feel about me and my camera. Once we met, it became easy. He's very warm and his laugh. Infectious. That's all I can say right now. This man has amazing strength and courage. Here are a few photos from the session.

Teaching a pup recall at a dog park is so tough to do. The pup has so many distractions that listening to you is the last think on his mind. And, I'm no expert since my dog is now being adventurous and exploring out of park boundaries (so annoying and very frustrating). Here's a great article from Modern Dog magazine on the subject of recall training.

Amazing day at Captiva Farms. Amazing staff, the horses are beautiful. Sunrise was super nice to me (thank you sweet girl) because you know when they say, 'something has never happened' well, with me around, I tend to create a different scenario. AND we couldn't have asked for better weather. Bright sunny sky, warm temperature, it was simply a perfect day. I got home and just curled up on the sofa with my tea. I'll be visiting this farm again. SO much fun.

Looking forward to 2012. I can think of a bunch of things I want to do but mostly it boils down to 'being a better me". From getting healthier, to helping other people, learning new things, sounds like a small task but it's pretty huge. Have you thought about what you'd like to improve upon in 2012.
