Two special visitors came by yesterday. I so enjoyed their company and I think Tika was in heaven soaking up all the love and attention. 

Share the Road

Laurie Sweig (The Point for Fitness) put on a fundraiser to raise money for "Share the Road". Here are a few shots from the event. Robert Wein, one of the Kanata 5 who were struck down by a car several years ago, and still recovering from those injuries, led a class. Here are few photos from that session. The energy was high and Laurie raised over $5,000. Great work Laurie and to everyone who participated. What a great day!

Good News!

Good news. Daisy's latest blood tests show that she's getting better. As you can see, she looks GREAT!

 And I met Harrah yesterday. The bouncy, happy, energetic Berner.  I don't know what it is about Berners but Sam adores Berners. A little too much, if you know what I mean.

Toby & Julie

While checking a nearby cafe I met Toby and Julie. Toby is a banker from Norway and Julie is from Mexico. They met while he was traveling the world. JUST KIDDING. This cute couple are engaged and planning their wedding. Julie is from Argentina. Now I want to go back to revisit all the places we saw so that I can take better photos!  It was nice to meet both of you today and I wish you all the best!

Mudley

Sad to say that Mudley passed away yesterday. What a big, fluffy, lovable dog and the ONLY dog that was able to control Sam. Now that is a dog with super dog powers. What an amazing dog. So grateful for the opportunity to spend time with Mudley a few weeks ago. Muah. Love you Mudley.

Busy day yesterday. I only managed to take photos of these birds in our yard. It started with a playful display in our pond then they went up to the tree to dry off.

Yes, I ran accross the street to photograph this puppy. The owner was taking her out for a pee break and I couldn't resist. I mean, really. Check out that nose!

Delilah {in the Glebe}

I had a great morning photographing summer shoes at Delilah yesterday. A wonderful, inviting store and a great hub for meeting old and new friends. I bumped into so many people yesterday and managed to one to model for us!
