Scarlet

A dose of green grass (it's coming!! spring is coming!!) and a dose of puppy cuteness. Happy Tuesday.
And thank you Chris. Your message left me speechless. I'm much better at taking photos that writing. All I can say is 'thank you'.

The Making of Perogies

It's been great having Dan's Mom stay with us this past week. We weren't sure how I would be feeling so it was comforting knowing she was here and I think it was good for Dan to not have to worry during the day.

Hello April!

Days like this....

Yesterday was so beautiful. I managed to get out for a walk around the market and I'm glad I did. Nothing like sunshine to lift the spirit.

Time for a break.

For the past year I have not been feeling well. Unfortunately my symptoms were dismissed by my physician and here I am. Today I start my first day of chemo. Yes, I have cancer. It's been a rough couple of weeks. I've realized I have the support from people I never thought I'd get support from, and then one other person who bullied me into giving details of my illness, such extremes in behaviour.

I am surrounded by amazing friends and family during this time but I'm not too sure how much picture taking will be going on. I don't know what to expect, it's all scary. I know I don't have a huge following but I thank you for checking out my blog now and then.

Wishing you well.

And anyone who tells you they can do this all on their own and that they are indepentdant....that's boloney. When you feel this bad there is no way you can take in all the info and recall it all later. You need support to go through this. I just took the message as a message telling me 'do not ask for help from me'....message understood.
