Such a cute visitor today!

A lovely day.

I have been meaning to visit friends who have brought the cutest little girl into the world. But with my last chemo treatment I wasn't quite ready to be sociable. This weekend I was feeling better and nothing was going to get in my way. I got my dose of new baby love and was able to connect with some wonderful friends. A pretty fabulous day.

I saw this pup in a car today with the windows down a couple inches. She/he was panting like crazy. I could feel the dogs fur and she was hot. I walked into a few shops to track down the owner, which I did and then offered to take care of the dog on the street if she wanted to continue shopping, which she did. Why are people so dumb. It's stinking hot out today.

While out shopping for a new sofa, I caught Lexi out of the corner of my eye. She was walking around the street with her owner, sporting her very pretty pink collar. She was super affectionate and very cute.

On a side note....

Some of you know I'm going through cancer treatment and just wanted to share with you that Friday is my last day of radiation. I had a rough two days, where I ended up in the hospital with a complication with my PICC line and a blood clot that has formed around it, I'm now back home, phew. I'm happy to report that this part of the treatment (radiation therapy) is almost over and I did it. It was not easy. I just wanted to share some good news with you. Hug your loved ones, your dog, and smile. It's a good day.
