I stumbled across photos taken in Hawaii. These are all that we have left since the others were accidentally deleted from my laptop. So sad.

My how things have changed. How cool is this? I was strolling through a local antique shop and stumbled upon this old radio, drawn to the yellowed buttons, the AM/FM options...pure awesomeness.

I got to hang out with friends yesterday. The door opened and I was greeted with a hug from this little dude! He's at "why?" stage. Cracked me up.

Now that she's on Metacam, Tika is not limping anymore. Yay! She's dying to get to the park but I think we'll wait a few more days, just to be sure she's all better.

Paw Update

From my everyday life

Tika has no broken bones or torn ligaments (phew!). But she does have a bruised paw. I figured something was wrong when I grabbed her paw yesterday and she just about ate my hand. She will continue to rest, and get lotsa lovin' (as usual) for the next little while. The docs at Pretoria are awesome (Tika has a particular fondness for Tracey, who is so gentle and caring with her. I can tell Tika trusts her, as much as I do.)

These were taken a few days ago so we have a little bit more snow (not much more). I never thought I'd be asking for more snow, but it does make everything look so much prettier. Sam's ready and I should probably be careful about what I ask for ;-)

Tika injured her leg yesterday at the dog park. I think she slipped on the ice. (Sam did not help with his tail nipping) She's getting lots of TLC, complete with belly rubs, the occasional treat and a few kisses too. My poor girl.
